Our signature sandwiches are built on English muffins we make in-house every morning — and you can order them for breakfast or lunch. Add tots, a muffin pizza, a cold drink and something sweet, then eat in, grab and go, or get it delivered.

Ilma Lopez bakes like a pastry chef and serves like a neighbor. Custard tarts, tres leches, brownies, cookies, seasonal cakes by the slice — plus espresso, drip, tea and something cold. It's the reason people come back at 2 PM.

Ilma Lopez & Damian Sansonetti
Ilma and Damian are the chef-owners of Chaval, and Ugly Duckling is their loose, loud, very fun other place. Same care, zero fuss: Ilma runs pastry, Damian runs the griddle, their kids run the vibe.
